PREFACE

"Is it really frivolous and silly to take care of yourself?
Highlighting one's physical, intellectual or moral qualities sometimes makes us appear vain and frivolous, and makes all of this appear wrong, when it is not.
For Epico 'vanity is as if it were a work of the theater; it means looking, getting used to observing, immersing oneself and contemplating; no one would be vain if he couldn't see himself and, above all, if he couldn't be seen.
Vanesia is the expression of an inner language, which does not want to impress, but fascinates in its simplicity.
In the opera the first two actors, are bergamot and yellow mandarin that stand out immediately, thanks to their role of light and that of energy and freshness and just as we were in the theater, the iris becomes the soundtrack that will accompany the whole Opera.
It starts slowly with a light introduction, but which helps the other characters to come out and have their say, as happens with the delicacy of the violet and the liveliness of the ginger, but while the work reaches the heart of its show the iris enters on stage and grows, grows more and more, thanks to an orchestra that supports it, made of cedar wood, muscho and a tonca bean that embraces and comforts her ...
