PREFACE:

the founder of Carbon shaving approached us about collaborating on a fragrance, Damascus kept coming up. As a designer of heirloom quality razors, he had utilized the modern form of Damascus steel in some of his pieces of functional artwork. With the popularity of our “origin” series perfumes like Musashi and Sidama, the ancient city of Damascus also beckoned. We decided to develop this new original fragrance as an homage to the famous steel, the city and its storied markets.
